With over 10 years of teaching experience, Steve specializes in Pop Singing, Vocal Harmony, and Pop Piano. In addition to teaching, he is actively involved in the music industry as a performer, songwriter, a music producer and a music video producer.  

He has participated in various Mediacorp television singing competitions, including 中国新歌声 (Voice of China – Singapore selections) and 歌台星力量, where he contributed as a vocal coach, provided backing vocals for contestants, and served as a judge for multiple singing competitions.

Steve has also collaborated and performed with Lara, the female lead vocalist of the hit song 珊瑚海. He has released multiple music albums across major digital music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, KKBox, YouTube and more. His vocal rendition and rearrangement of the hit song 普通朋友 was notably mentioned in an interview by David Tao. His music video on Youtube, 时间都去哪了, gained viral traction and recognition across Asia upon release.  

His work and collaborations have been featured in radio and online interviews on UFM 100.3, 88.3JiaFM, MyFM, and YES933 in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and China. In addition, he was interviewed on the television programme《前线追踪》as the vocal coach of two outstanding students who competed in a Chingay-organized talent competition. Under his guidance, many of his students have advanced to the finals of various singing competitions, including the televised Sheng Siong Singing Competition.
